The house: I have been renting different sections of my home for a number of years now. Some are isolated apartment-like units and some are rooms with shared spaces. I have listed more details about the unit that is currently for rent below. The home is located in a very quiet and well maintained part of town, Maywood Park. One side of the house faces Rocky butte and a park with a bike path running through it. The other side has another local city park. Everyone who currently lives in the house is very respectful and quiet. They are all kind but quiet and keep to themselves. I am looking for people of similar personality types to avoid as much friction as possible. I am very attached to the house. I clean it regularly as well as have it professionally cleaned. I have a strict no shoes policy. Currently all the tenants are men in their late s. They are very low key and very easy people to live with. No pets. Unit 1- This is the only room on this floor of the house. It comes furnished. It’s about square feet. It is very large and was previously used as a family room library type space. It is adjacent to a semi-private bathroom. I say semiprivate because I installed an additional washer dryer in there that the tenants on the 2nd floor use. It also shares a kitchen with the tenants on the 2nd floor. Other Costs: $/mos utilities -One time security deposit: of first month rent $ (unless there is major damage, this would obviously be refunded to you if you move out.) This is also the nonrefundable holding fee if you decide to rent the room. -Application fee: $ (You would not need to pay this until you have already visited the house and decided that it would be a perfect fit for you. The agency examines credit/criminal/rental history. A perspective tenant must pass this background check.) Last months rent: can be paid in installments over first couple of months
