Looking for a roommate to join me in my spacious Chinatown apartment! The place is on the bigger side, two stories with bedrooms and full bath upstairs, living room/kitchen and half bath downstairs. The location is absolutely amazing, a short walk from downtown, Chinatown, and Echo Park, and right next to a lot of public transportation options as well as several freeways. Somehow it's still usually pretty quiet. Rent is as listed, utilities are difficult to estimate because the electric bill goes up considerably in the summer owing to the AC, and the DWP charges every two months, which further confuses things, but it averages out to around $ a month. I'm a writer, improv comedian, actor, and very amateur musician, and to make money I help people move and do catering delivery. At home, I'm usually writing, reading, playing video games, or otherwise whiling away my few precious hours on Earth consuming media. I cook somehow or other most nights, occasionally exercise in the park across the street, and take care of my cat. Non-negotiables: --You must be one person! This comes from the property management company, and also my firm desire not to fall victim to a coup. --You must be vaccinated! I usually perform in and/or attend multiple comedy shows every week, in addition to working in person with many different people, and I can't have someone around that will be at serious risk. --You must be without pets! My cat is the center of my world, and she doesn't like other animals. Sorry. --You must be genuinely able to make rent and utilities every month, with confidence! The management company will do whatever checks. --You must intend to live here for a while! I don't want to do this again for at least a year. Open to all gender and sexual identities, friendly within reason- I'd prefer my home not reek of it, but I partake myself most nights. Hoping for someone I can genuinely befriend, but, internet.
