Available now! room available in our upper story flat –The house is located blocks east of Lake Merritt, in the Eastlake/San Antonio district of Oakland and a close bike ride to both Fruitvale and Lake Merritt Bart Stations. The common spaces include a huge kitchen, large living room, 2 full bathrooms, central heat, an indoor space for storing your bike, wifi, cable, trash, recycling, biodegradables, carpet and hardwood floors. There are large windows and natural light in each room and common spaces. We would like to offer you a nice big space with lots of privacy, the ability to live your own life, and come and go as you please without a ton of house rules and community meetings. The one firm rule is that everyone contributes to the chore wheel, which comes out to be minutes each per week. About the area: -close to Lake Merritt -3 min drive/8 min walk to Lucky's on E th st. -7 min bike ride/ min walk to Laney College, Lake Merritt Bart and Fruitvale stations -close to Downtown Oakland -Asian market around the corner -laundromat 1 block away -close to freeways About you: - Single room occupancy -respectful of communal spaces by keeping them clean and tidy at all times. - can follow a chore wheel -no parties, frequent overnight guests, pets, or smoking. -good previous landlord references -proof of income -prefer at least 6 month subleaser, after that, month-to-month Move in costs are first, last and deposit.
