The Apartment: Bedroom for rent in this large, sq. ft apartment. First floor of a three story house. The neighborhood is good, and the neighbors are polite and keep to themselves. The apartment has a fully furnished living room and kitchen, with a laundry room with a washer and dryer. Parking is available in the back behind the building. There’s also street parking available for guests, as well as some parking in front (if available.) Utilities costs include electricity, internet, and gas (water, sewage, and parking included in rent.) The costs per roommate are around $ per month, give or take $ depending on the time of year. The Location: On River Street, bordering Agawam and West Springfield. This apartment has a nice view of the Westfield River and is a 2 minute walk from a local bar. We are within walking distance of the Big E (won’t hear it during fair season) with a Walgreens down the street and a number of restaurants also within walking/short driving distance. The Roommates: female, both in their s. We’re into working out, videogames, movies, making cocktails, and eating too many sweets. We like to try and have at least one roommate hangout night a month, which can include a night out to a brewery, or even just pizza and a movie. Guests are welcome as long as the other two roommates are given hours notice. The cats: In addition to two roommates, there are two 7 month old cats living in the apartment. They are domestic medium hairs who enjoy running around, getting into trouble, and cuddling in people’s laps. You: We’re looking for a respectful and fun roommate who is responsible when it comes to bill payments (utilities/rent/common items are split 3 ways) and wouldn’t mind two furry cats running around. When: Ideally we’re looking for someone to move in anytime after the end of February, beginning of March. Summary: If this apartment was a sitcom, we’d be renewed for at least three seasons.
