My partner is moving out March, so two bedrooms are available in a modest house in a good neighborly area of North Minneapolis / south of Fridley. One roomate pays ~7️⃣-hundred fifty or two roomates pay ~5️⃣-hundred each /month for rent and varying utilites. (Why does this app not let you type certain numbers in descriptions??) Rooms available are on main floor with the kitchen, living room and one bathroom. Two spots in the back for two cars (not garaged). Small backyard with deck platform and gardens. Small rock garden in front lawn. I own two chickens in a fenced-in run & coop, so any larger predatory cats are not allowed (all other small cats and any-sized pets welcome). The Rottweiler pictured won't be here. I'll be living in the basement where there's another living room, my bedroom, storage closet and the laundry room. There's a lot of esoteric/witchy/dark decorations down there, so perhaps it wouldn't be suitable for kids to go in the basement 🙄 There's also an electronic drumset down there I may play occasionally; it does not make much noise, just clonky tapping sounds hardly heard from upstairs. My prefered roomates -though not limited to this- would be those into an alternative lifestyles and/or aesthetic, okay with frequent swearing, not any more right-wing than Bill Maher, creative in some sort of way (would love a crafting/artistic/musical roomate!), has a sense of interior design, keeps their toys in their room (lookin' at you, FunkoPop & Lego adults 😠), loves animals, and just keeps moderately tidy (I'm not a mess nazi by any means, but let's keep everything functional) Almost any extent of hedonistic vices are cool with me. I am very accomidating and compassionate for anyone with disabilities or mental illnesses, so any careful living needs will be respected; same goes for children and animals.
